Senior Accountant – Full‑time – Construction industry. Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a strong background in accounting, focusing on entries, financials, Sage Intacct, and monthly reporting. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Responsibilities- Oversee the financial operations of the organization, including maintaining an adequate system of accounting records and comprehensive controls and budgets.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Manage the entries and general ledger, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Implement and maintain the Sage Intacct system, ensuring its effective utilization across the organization.
- Conduct regular financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, providing strategic financial recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes and regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors, providing all required information and addressing any issues raised.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct and other accounting software.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
- High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
