Senior Accountant - Non-Profit

Overview

A non-profit organization located near downtown LA is looking for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for account/bank reconciliation, general ledger management, working with grant funding sources on billing, applying grant payments, month/year-end closes, and journal entry preparation. The Senior Accountant will also analyze balance sheets, handle project expense management, assist with budget development, as well as prepare fiscal reports.

The Senior Accountant will assist with audits as well as ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is required.
• At least four years of general accounting experience (i.e., general ledger management, journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, month-end assistance, etc.).
• Non-profit industry is required.
• Advanced Excel.
• Must have very good time management and communication skills.
• $77,000 - 85,000.
