Revenue Accountant

Pay Rate

$90k - $105k (estimate)

Insight Global is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join one of the world's leading gaming publishers. This role is based in Irvine, CA, working 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. This role involves preparing and issuing invoices, reconciling revenue accounts, maintaining SKUs and their revenue recognition categorization, and ensuring accurate mapping of sales data to general ledger codes. Responsibilities include journal entries, accruals, and revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, utilizing ERP systems such as Oracle (or SAP), and revenue recognition engines such as Rec Vue (or Zuora).

The position requires generating and reconciling reports, coordinating with technical teams to validate data, and supporting audits with accurate documentation. The right candidate will have advanced Excel skills for handling large data sets and experience with complex revenue structures, including bundling. Experience with companies generating over $250M in revenue is strongly preferred.

• BA Degree in accounting or finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience (SaaS industry preferred)
• Reconcile, balance, and analyze revenue, deferred revenue, and accrued accounts receivable at month‑end closing; investigate and resolve any variances identified.
• End‑to‑end invoice processing and revenue reconciliation, including preparing and issuing invoices, processing adjustment invoices, and ensuring prompt payment collection
• Strong Excel skills (high volume)
• Great communication
