The CRC Accounting Department is seeking to fill a Senior Accountant position to support our North operations. This position is located in Bakersfield, CA and is eligible for a hybrid work‑from‑home schedule.
The base annual salary for this posted position is reasonably expected to range from $95K – 115K, with a target annual bonus of 10% of base salary. Your actual level and base salary, however, will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on the following considerations : job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Responsibilities- Support month‑end closing process
- Assist with JIB cost analysis, net profit interest statements, payouts, and allocations.
- Prepare month‑end journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits including preparation of deliverables and answering questions from auditors
- Prepare monthly / quarterly financial reports and roll‑forward schedules
- Conduct monthly intercompany activity review
- As needed, aid in other areas of financial and operating reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3‑5 years of experience in accounting preferred
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrate proactive attitude, showing and taking initiative
- Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management, operations, and external owners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines and interact effectively in a team environment
- Experience with Joint Venture Accounting / JIB
- Experience with Oracle
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with HFM
