Tri-Lakes Newspapers Inc, publisher of the

Branson Tri-Lakes News, Stone County Republican

& Barry County Advertiser the area’s leading source for news and

information is seeking the right individual to join our team in the

position of bookkeeper. In addition to publishing the

Tri-Lakes News, we are a digital marketing agency and printing

shop supplying many of the area’s booklets and magazines as well

as printing newspapers in neighboring counties.

Bookkeeper Job **

• Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts;

posting transactions; handling deposits.

• Utilize existing systems to account for financial transactions.

• Maintains accounts receivable subsidiary accounts by verifying and

posting transactions.

• Communicate and work with customers to ensure accounts are paid

in a timely manner.

• Process legal advertising and affidavits.

• Assist with the processing of accounts payable and updating inventory

transactions.

• Maintains historical records by filing documents.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Bookkeeper Qualifications / *

• 5+ years current relevant bookkeeping experience.

Accounting degree a plus.

• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles

• Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook

• Knowledge of filing systems, general business office practices

• Ability to multi-task with multiple projects, priorities and deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communications

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and good analytical skills with an ability

to problem solve

This is a full-time position with competitive wages.
