Our vertically-integrated cannabis partner in Monterey County, CA is currently hiring for a Cost Accountant to add to the team! This is an on-site position and reports to the VP of Finance Reporting.
Responsibilities- Develop, collect and analyze cost standards
- Conduct cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis Collect & analyze operational costs
- Maintain Determines GL
- Perform reconciliations, close procedures and reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination
- Experience in cannabis industry is a huge plus!
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and GAAP
- Analytical and communication skills
- Strong experience with Excel
- Ability to work cross functionally with with personnel outside of accounting
- Mid-Senior level
