About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Staff / Tax Accountant to join a well-established public accounting and business management firm. This is a direct hire opportunity for a professional with strong technical skills and a client‑focused approach.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns.
- Generate financial reports using Quick Books or similar accounting software.
- Make adjusting journal entries for client bookkeeping, including adjusting schedules and reclassifying expenses.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services.
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting or business management (ideally 5+ years overall).
- CPA or EA designation or tracking required.
- Experience with CCH Axcess or Quick Books preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
