• Assist with long‑range audit planning and execution for Audits Branch I.
• Direct and coordinate audit activities to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance.
• Collaborate with other Senior Management Auditors to develop and maintain an agile auditing approach, emphasizing improved communication, iterative planning, and flexibility and responsiveness to emerging risks.
• Supervise audit staff and provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
• Exercise full management and supervisory authority when acting in place of the Supervising Management Auditor.
• Ensure audit work aligns with DMV priorities, statutory requirements, and best practices.

• Valid driver license and ability to pass fingerprint clearance prior to hire.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and DMV‑related laws, rules, and regulations.
• Demonstrated logical reasoning, sound judgment, and professional demeanor.
• Proven ability to manage audits and produce clear, well‑documented written reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make timely, effective decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the DMV to internal and external stakeholders.
