Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $34.00 to $40.00 per hour.

• Prepare and maintain project financial reports using accounting software and Excel.
• Calculate and record monthly project revenue, including related journal entries.
• Manage accounts receivable and unbilled balances to support timely collections.
• Collaborate with program staff to reclassify labor and expenses as needed.
• Assist with audits, financial reporting, and compliance documentation for grants and contracts.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in billing, general accounting, or project accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to support various accounting functions, including payroll or accounts payable.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Prior experience with MIP Fund Accounting and ADP payroll systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
