Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. Expected starting base salary of $82,000 to $90,000 per year.

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy.
• Lead or assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and provide clear explanations to management.
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to internal and external requests.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or eligibility.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month‑end close.
• Prior experience with public accounting and exposure to cost accounting.
• Familiarity with process automation or system implementation projects.
