Senior Accountant

Our space industry client is hiring for their first Senior Accountant! The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of accounting processes, is excited about leading day-to-day accounting operations for a growing startup, and eager to help form the company's formal finance function. This is a fantastic growth opportunity for candidates who are looking for more responsibility as the business scales!

• Manage the full AP/AR process
• Support month-end close and help prepare regular financial summaries
• Assist with payroll processing, expense reimbursement, and vendor activity.
• Work with external accountants on annual tax filings and audit preparation
• Assist with other tasks as needed

• 2-4 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processes, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
• Experience with common accounting software and systems (e.g. Quick Books, Ramp)
• Motivated to grow with a fast-paced, early-stage startup
