Senior Accountant

Small supply chain company located near downtown Los Angeles is looking for a Senior Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis. In this stand‑alone position, main duties for the Senior Accountant include handling monthly/quarterly/annual closes, financial statement preparation, preparing journal entries, bank, and account reconciliations, and conducting general ledger management. The Senior Accountant will also assist with handling A/P & A/R functions, creating variance analysis and cash flow reports, and other ad hoc duties.

$40.00/hr - $43.00/hr

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 4+ years of general accounting experience. Strong accounting/GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills and Quick Books are required.
• Must have excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, and ability to hit deadlines is critical.
• Ability to work with various personnel is essential.
• Pay, $40 - 43/hr. $90,000 - 95,000k upon hire.
