Tax Manager

Overview

We are looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to join our team. This role reports to a VP/Controller.

The ideal candidate should possess 7 to 10 years of accounting and auditing experience, including the following:

• Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring professional staff.
• Proficiency in GAAP financial reporting, with a preference for experience related to investment companies and fund-of-funds.
• Competence in using general ledger accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct).
• Experience as a liaison with external auditors.
• The ability to plan and execute financial statement audits.

• Oversee and monitor the daily operations of the accounting team, with a specific focus on the Company's investment funds; establish and regularly review the Company's accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reports and information.
• Collaborate with the external accounting firm during the year-end audit and conduct a thorough review of audit reports before final issuance.
• Respond to various investor requests for reports and information.
• Provide mentorship and foster the development of the Company's accounting staff.
