Accounting Manager

Location: High Ridge, MO 63049 (Onsite)

Compensation: $110-120K/Yearly

Reports To: Controller

The Accounting Manager supports a multi-unit business by overseeing general accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting and analysis. This role is responsible for the monthly general ledger close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, management reporting, fixed asset accounting, and support of treasury and audit functions.

• Manage monthly general ledger close, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Record payroll-related activity accurately and consistently
• Prepare and support financial statements, balance sheet and income statement analysis
• Perform consolidations and support year-end audits
• Conduct accounting research and recommend appropriate GAAP treatment
• Investigate and explain variances identified during financial reviews
• Manage fixed asset accounting and reporting
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors
• Develop and maintain accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, controls, and productivity
• Complete special projects as needed

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (Net Suite preferred)

• 5+ years of senior-level accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of compliance, governance, and internal controls
• Experience with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting strongly preferred
