Overview: Join H&R Block as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional. In this role you will serve clients with diverse tax needs, build strong client relationships, and receive advanced tax training to ensure success.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including tax notice services and audit representation where applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Success in completing the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.

$17.90 – $17.90 per hour. Individual pay decisions will depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location.
