Position Summary
The Yoga Boutique Manager is a charismatic leader who is skilled at encouraging people to try yoga. They have the ability to recruit, cast, coach, and retain talented teachers. They love Life Power Yoga and curate experiences that make members and teachers want to practice and teach at Life Time.
The Yoga Boutique Leader supports the member experience by teaching at least 4 signature yoga classes per week, leading a minimum of 1 yoga 1:1 session per month, and 1 yoga workshop per quarter.
They also support Yoga Teacher Training by facilitating 40-90 hours of the program and assisting other faculty, providing the best environment and marketing support to ensure successful training.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Scout talent, interview, and train new members, assisting with certification, procedures, policies, and programs.
- Provide feedback and tools for teachers to improve their skills, with follow-up.
- Optimize the effectiveness of cross-functional teams.
- Identify and reinforce common goals to build commitment and teamwork.
- Develop positive relationships with members and teachers, building communities.
- Manage teacher performance through timely discussions on development and strengths.
- Optimize schedule operations to enhance business and member experience.
- Communicate plans and activities to support team involvement strategies.
- Manage and deliver yoga programming, including a minimum of 4 classes/week, 1 workshop/month, and 1 yoga 1:1 session/month.
- Manage budgets and achieve participation targets using tools like schedule optimization and performance reports.
- Teach at least 4 classes per week.
Position Requirements
- 200-hour Yoga Certification
- 2 years of management or leadership experience
- Certification in all Life Power Yoga Signature Classes
- CPR Certification
- Experience with payroll and schedule optimization
Preferred Requirements
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Experience with social media
