Job Overview — Assist the school principal in maintaining order, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that safety rules are followed on school grounds. Incumbent must exercise good judgment in assessing student behavior and handling student disciplinary problems.

• Maintain a daily log of events and activities
• Patrol areas around office and campus grounds to ensure integrity of contents and maintain order; guard against illegal entry, fire, theft, and vandalism
• Enforce safety rules and regulations; observe and report unusual conditions, operations and safety hazards
• Operate and maintain a base radio; receive and keep a log of all radio messages; contact proper personnel in cases of emergency

• High School diploma or GED

• Possess a thorough understanding of school safety and disciplinary rules and regulations
• Have good listening, reading, and writing skills

Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties.
