As a Driver Examiner, you’ll be the face of MVD welcoming customers, answering questions, issuing driver licenses and IDs, and ensuring Montanans are ready to hit the road safely. Your attention to detail and commitment to service will impact your community.

• Provide exceptional customer service in a public-facing role
• Issue state IDs, driver licenses, and commercial driver licenses
• Administer and evaluate written and driving tests
• Verify legal documentation and maintain accurate records
• Travel to satellite exam stations as needed
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Lift up to 25 lbs. as needed

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience with computerized data systems
• 1 year customer service experience
• 1 year of cash handling experience
• Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) within your first year (for testing/training purposes)
• A strong attention to detail and a passion for helping others
