You’ll conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance and come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks.

- May perform general carpentry, tiling, painting, and wall surface repairs (experience is helpful but not required)
- Completes maintenance request forms
- Cleans and maintains the lobby and other public areas to ensure a safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors
- Vacuums and/or sweeps all floor surfaces
- Complete and document pool readings (will train)
- Transports guests to and from the airport and other locations as requested, while demonstrating all common courtesies and obeying driving and traffic laws (valid, clean driver’s license/record)
- Responds in a timely, courteous manner to guests' questions, complaints, or requests
- Properly maintains tools, work spaces, and equipment
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor
- Performs other duties as assigned, responds on a radio/on-call basis
- Manage other maintenance requests as required
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
- Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made
- Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed
- Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks

- Technical and Computer Skills
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry is helpful but not required
- Experienced with general maintenance tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Multi-tasking/Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Caring and compassionate attitude
- Knowledge of the surrounding area and events
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Reliability and punctuality
- Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience
- Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests
- Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
$16.50 - $17.50 hourly
