Heavy Equipment Operator, Construction Labor / Trades
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;
- Perform daily equipment inspections
- Perform work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors
- Safely operate roller in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness.
- Ability to communicate with supervisor and testing technician about mat compaction efforts
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts that include days, nights, and weekends
- Must be willing to do physical labor
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications;
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license but a CDL is a preferred
- Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background
- Job requires steady to intermittent physical activity including; standing, stooping kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, shoveling, and raking
