- Lead aerial crew in daily work to safely complete jobs
- Install and/or repair aerial cable TV (CTV) coaxial and fiber cable
- Place, relocate and remove poles, lines, open wires, drops and block wires to maintain efficient operation of customer facilities
- Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones and safety barriers
- Direct traffic in accordance with local DOT guidelines as necessary
- Work in a variety of environments; indoors, outdoors, tight spaces, elevated
- Travel to various client sites, sometimes overnight stays as needed (up to 75% travel annually)
- Prioritize, organize and efficiently complete tasks to meet deadlines
- Resolve and troubleshoot issues
- Navigate a variety of terrains, managing tools and equipment
- Strive to provide the best customer experience every day
- Other duties as assigned
- 2+ years experience in aerial fiber optic installation and/or telecommunications construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Previous experience leading/managing others (a plus)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety requirements
- Familiar with NESC safety guidelines
- Ability to safely climb poles with climbing equipment
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs consistently
- Ability to work with small components and wires
- Open to varied schedules; evenings and/or weekends as needed
- Ability to travel daily and up to 75% travel annually, including overnight stays as needed
- Excellent customer service, time management, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated (bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, standing up to 70% of the time)
- Ability to use gaffs to climb poles and build hardline on poles, use a lasher
- Must provide a valid government‑issued photo verification; driver's license required if driving involved
- Passing of all pre‑employment requirements (MVR, background check, drug screen)
