• Greet and assist customers in the buying process
• Return calls promptly and maintain professional communication
• Arrive at appointments with customers on time
• Create a "Needs Analysis" form for all customers
• Create clear and precise work orders for every job
• Take accurate measurements
• Follow up with customers to ensure all their questions are answered
• Attend regular company-sponsored training sessions on selling strategies
• Coordinate with installers or scheduler
• Manage sample checkouts
• Work with manager to set sales goals and strive to meet them through client retention
• Obtain necessary information to create accurate and timely estimates for clients
• Create documents for customer presentations

• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to find solutions for or to deal proactively with work-related problems
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge is a plus
