Base Pay Range

$13.56/hr – $20.34/hr

Summary

CHS is hiring for a Seasonal Store Clerk in Missoula, MT. The role focuses on customer service, cashier duties, stocking and organizing products, inventory tracking, and display assistance. Strong communication skills, self‑motivation, and teamwork are required. Availability for night and weekend shifts is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers promptly.
  • Perform cashier responsibilities, including accepting payments and issuing receipts.
  • Display and organize products for easy customer access.
  • Maintain store appearance through dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise.
  • Assist with ordering merchandise and inventory tracking.
  • Assist with loss prevention and monitor customers.
  • Help prepare displays and promotions.
  • Support a strong safety culture by following policies and reporting hazards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge of retail and/or merchandising and customer service.
  • Minimum age requirement met.
Additional Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • English reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills for store equipment (cash register, timekeeping, record‑keeping).
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Flexible hours preferred.
  • Pre‑employment screening may be required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend and lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly.
Compensation and Benefits

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package that includes base wage and possibly bonus, incentive, and commission earnings. Compensation may also include 401(k) eligibility for eligible employees.
