Description:

Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups.
Include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
Optimize patient care and comfort.
Function within the scope of nursing preparation.
Adhere to established guidelines of nursing practice and state regulations.
Graduate of a state-approved School of Nursing.
Possess a current RN licensure or temporary work permit.
RN must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card.
ETC RN must have a current ACLS card.
ETC RN must have current PALS or ENPC, and TNCC cards.
Demonstrate skills in human relations and communications.
Demonstrated clinical expertise in the area of responsibility required.
Stand and walk most of the time on duty.
Lift and push patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs.
Usually work in a clean, air-conditioned area.
Physical demands include lifting, pushing, and gripping up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
Use a computer and all relevant medical equipment.
Dress code includes wearing black scrubs and following general attire guidelines.
Engage with the community through various activities and services.
