ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse in the Extended Recovery Unit, the schedule is variable with a Flex of 12-24 hours per week. You will be responsible for monitoring post-operative patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. Day-to-day tasks include assessing patient conditions, providing patient education, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also have opportunities to participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance your skills.

To excel in the Extended Recovery Unit RN position, you should possess strong clinical skills and attention to detail. Experience in monitoring the recovery process of patients post total joint or spinal procedures is essential. Proficiency in using medical equipment and tools to assess patient vital signs and condition is valuable. Excellent communication skills are crucial for collaborating with the healthcare team and providing patient education.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient safety and comfort is key. Familiarity with electronic health records systems to accurately document patient information and progress is necessary.
Required:
- Montana RN License
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing School with an Associate or Bachelor of Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
