Start Time: 1900

Unit: Pediatrics

Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Two (2)-12hr shifts per week, rotating weekends

The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of pediatric patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• Associate s degree from an accredited nursing school
• BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
• PALS within six (6) months of hire
• One (1) year of pediatric or critical care experience

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Pediatric certification
• PICU experience
