Registered Nurse (RN), Orthopedics – Lifepoint Health
Full‑time (FTE 0.8–1.0) positions with 12‑hour shifts starting at 0700, scheduled for three 12‑hour shifts each week plus every third weekend.
ResponsibilityThe RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from admission to discharge or transfer. The RN provides expert care and education, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel, manages patient loads within assigned timelines, and performs clinical nursing procedures, disease‑process management, interventions, and pharmacological care.
Required Qualifications- Experience in post‑surgical nursing
- Current state RN license
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- One year of acute care experience
- Six months charge nurse experience within the last year
- BSN
- ACLS certification
- Experience in post‑surgical, orthopedics, or rehabilitation settings
- $3.50 weekend premium
- Charge RN and certification pay if eligible
