The Village Health & Rehabilitation and Platinum Career Solutions located in Missoula, MT are offering a fully paid two-week training class to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). A full-time or part-time position is available after certification.

Paid CNA classes are available with the following schedule options. Training classes are located in Missoula, MT, held in the Platinum Career Solutions training classroom. You will learn skills for providing personal care and assisting with activities of daily living in a senior living health care community. The curriculum emphasizes exceptional care and customer service.

Classes are scheduled from 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday. After two weeks, you will take a certification test. Once certified, you will be placed on the floor as a full-time or part-time CNA at The Village Health & Rehabilitation. You will be assigned a CNA Mentor for your first two weeks on the floor.

• All students receive $16/hour for classroom hours required for graduation (minimum 80 hours) with pay increase up to $21/hr after certification.

Part-time or full-time hours | 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, Days, Evenings or Nights | Rotating Weekends

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays an integral role in the success of our team and community, helping residents feel  primary purpose is to provide assistance in Nursing Department functions as directed and in accordance with established policies and procedures. It also includes providing assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services per the care plan.

• Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy services under the direction of the nurse (e.g., range of motion, assistance in ambulation).
• Assist with personal care activities: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, shaving, etc.
• Perform household services essential to health care at home: meal preparation/feeding, laundry, bed linens, light housekeeping, and related services.
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities; encourage socializing and participation in planned programs.
• Observe and document health and emotional condition of residents; promptly report changes to the nurse.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and emergency pull cords.
• Promote safety and infection control; follow guidelines and report unsafe situations to the nurse.
• Assist residents in preparing and transporting for appointments and programs.
• Assist with moving and transporting residents using appropriate devices.
• Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed.

• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
