Overview
The primary duties of the Surgical Technician include: being prepared for and knowledgeable of the surgical procedure to be performed, setting up and maintaining a sterile field, assisting the surgeon as necessary, assisting the circulating nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintaining familiarity, function and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments. The Surgical Technician initiates responsibility for care of specimens and performs other related duties as assigned.

Available Opportunities- Full-time, 0.9 FTE (36 working hours), evening shift
- Full-time, 1 FTE (40 working hours), day shift
- Part-time, 0.8 FTE (32 working hours), variable shift
- Part-time, 0.75 FTE (30 working hours), evening shift
- Coursework/Training:
Surgical Tech program. - National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assistants upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year Operating Room experience.
