Customer Service Representative – Help patients check into the hospital. Fast‑paced, rely on answering questions during registration. Build trust by collecting information accurately, listening with compassion and addressing fears and concerns.
What you can expect working in Patient Registration (Customer Service)- Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment. Input details correctly across multiple programs; type as quickly as patients talk. Handle clinician interruptions for emergent care.
- Help people who may be very ill or worried. Listen carefully to ease anxiety; ask follow‑up questions and build rapport in real time.
- Fast‑paced work environment, often on your feet assisting patients. Collect patient and insurance information that varies by health plans and coverage. Work quickly and expect the unexpected; this is not a desk job.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service experience
Pay range: $15.50 – $23.21 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
