Riverside Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Medication Aide II (LMAII) to join their clinical team. This community boasts 72 skilled nursing beds and provides the support residents and patients need through a wide range of skilled nursing care and restorative therapies. This community has been a part of the Missoula area since 1988. LMAII licenses may be used in skilled nursing facility or hospital settings. This license is verified by the State of Montana, not by a facility; this requires proof of licensure number. Medication Aide IIs are not qualified to work in a skilled nursing facility.

This position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer medications according to healthcare provider instructions and within the scope of the license.
• Answer resident call lights and bells, determine and address their requests.
• Ensure the resident’s environment is comfortable and safe.
• Inform the nurse of any changes in the resident's condition (e.g., vitals, reports of pain).
• Complete clinical documentation according to policy.
• Attend and participate in in-service training programs to meet requirements.
• Follow safety precautions in all duties.
• Clean, disinfect, and store all resident care equipment after each use.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties related to nursing care.
• Store all tools, equipment, and supplies before breaks or end of shift.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept feedback.
• Ability to interact tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and agencies.
• Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication.

Licensing/Certifications:

• Must be a Licensed CNA and Licensed Medication Aide II in Montana.
