Position Summary:

As the Director of Med Surg, you will play a vital role in overseeing the clinical unit of our Med/Surg department. This position is for a full-time (0.8 - 1.0 Status) day shift role. We are seeking a qualified professional with the right clinical training and leadership experience to drive the clinical direction, quality outcomes, and financial health of our Med Surg department.

The Director role is house-wide, functional, multidisciplinary, and service-oriented, following established leadership principles. We expect you to accept leadership as a sacred trust, exhibit pride of ownership, be customer-focused, and strategically oriented, demonstrate teamwork, and delegate appropriately.

Primary (Essential) Duties:
  • BSN required or eligible license in the state of Montana as an RN.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a clinical leader.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with physicians, leading project management initiatives, and driving process improvement projects.
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred / Desired

Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in nursing, Business, or Leadership/Management preferred.
  • Experience as a unit-level director is preferred.
