Position Summary:
The Senior Registered Ultrasonographer is involved with the day-to-day Ultrasound Department operations within Diagnostic Imaging. The sonographer performs diagnostic medical sonograms, both general and vascular, with minimal supervision, provides quality patient care, and is responsible for all ultrasound services offered. This role requires effective communication with patients, coworkers, lead sonographers, managers, radiologists, providers, and other staff to ensure high-quality care. The employee will assist the Core Leader in achieving department goals and objectives.
The sonographer performs basic and complex ultrasound exams, providing optimal assessments for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Required:
- Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program by JRCRTE or equivalent education and experience.
- National Certification from ARDMS or R.T.(S) upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred:
- Two (2) years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
