- High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent required.
- Current Montana CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 60 days after hire date.
- Require critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Works under the supervision of a Physician or Nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
- Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
- Maintains examination areas.
- Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
