Successful candidate shall possess a B.S. in Civil Engineering (or similar field) with 0 to 4 years of construction inspection, design, and consulting experience. Experience is desired in the area of subdivisions for both residential and commercial developments. Experience is preferred in the areas of streets, water, wastewater, grading, drainage and traffic engineering. It is essential the candidate possess a strong working knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D in addition the ability to model water and storm water systems utilizing Watercad, Pond Pack and HEC Ras software is desirable.

Additional experience in the operations of small water and wastewater systems is also desired. Must be capable of completing applications and preparing designs, plans, specifications, and contract and bid documents under the direction of a professional engineer. Will also work closely with local regulatory agencies in permitting and completing Montana Department of Environmental Quality reviews.

Successful candidate shall be Professional Civil Engineer with 5 to 10 years of design and consulting experience. Experience is required in the areas of subdivisions, streets, water, wastewater, grading and drainage. Must be capable of completing applications, cost estimates, studies, designs, plans, specifications, contracts and bid documents. Projects range from residential & commercial developments, to municipal, and governmental clients. Individual must direct technical staff in completing projects on time and budget.

Candidate is responsible for client contact and public meetings. Experience in the preparation of PER’ s, RFP’s, RFQ’s and grants is also desirable as well as AutoCAD Civil 3D familiarity. Candidate must possess licensure in the State of Montana as a Professional Engineer within six months.

PCI is an EOE employer offering an excellent benefit package in a pleasant work environment. A probation period is required.
