Internal Medicine - Cardiology

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Cardiologist to provide expert internal medicine services with a cardiology specialization.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in dynamic hospital and clinic settings, delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. Be part of a collaborative environment committed to excellence and patient well-being.

Required Skills:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
  • Valid state medical license and DEA certification
  • Proven experience in cardiology, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in echocardiography and other diagnostic modalities
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Advanced certifications such as Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC)
  • Experience with outpatient and inpatient cardiology procedures
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Willingness to participate in teaching or training sessions
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical cardiology experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
  • Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to adapt to varied scheduling needs, including night and weekend call shifts
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, predominantly involving phone consultations
  • Commitment to maintaining licensure and certifications current
  • Flexibility to work in hospital or clinic environments based on staffing needs
  • Travel reimbursements and licensure fees covered where applicable
