Internal Medicine - Cardiology
Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine - Cardiology Specialist and Make a Difference in Patient Care!
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Cardiologist to provide expert internal medicine services with a cardiology specialization.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in dynamic hospital and clinic settings, delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. Be part of a collaborative environment committed to excellence and patient well-being.
Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
- Valid state medical license and DEA certification
- Proven experience in cardiology, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in echocardiography and other diagnostic modalities
Skills:
- Advanced certifications such as Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC)
- Experience with outpatient and inpatient cardiology procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Willingness to participate in teaching or training sessions
Education and Experience:
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical cardiology experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous
- Ability to adapt to varied scheduling needs, including night and weekend call shifts
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, predominantly involving phone consultations
- Commitment to maintaining licensure and certifications current
- Flexibility to work in hospital or clinic environments based on staffing needs
- Travel reimbursements and licensure fees covered where applicable
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
