AboutThe Role
As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in the early stages of project development—analyzing plans, pricing materials and labor, and collaborating with design and operations teams to deliver accurate, competitive estimates. You’ll help shape strategy and ensure that every proposal reflects both the company’s quality standards and the client’s vision. Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals for commercial projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and other documents to identify scope and constructability considerations.
- Solicit, evaluate, and manage subcontractor and vendor pricing.
- Partner with project management and field teams to ensure accurate scope alignment and smooth project handoff.
- Participate in value engineering and risk analysis discussions to improve project outcomes.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals to stay current on pricing trends and innovations.
- Support the preconstruction team in developing strategic bid packages and presentation materials.
- 5+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects with a general contractor.
- Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
