The primary role of the Equipment Mechanic is to maintain and repair a variety of oilfield equipment, including diesel engines, heavy trucks, workover rigs, pumping equipment, lifting equipment, and related machinery. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, failure analysis, diagnostics, repairs, inspections, and rebuilding components either in a shop or on location, with or without supervision.

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment such as diesel/gasoline engines (Cat, DDEC, MTU, Cummins, Perkins, Mack), transmissions (Allison), winches (electric and hydraulic), high-pressure pumps, workover rigs, centrifugal pumps, air compressors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, cranes, gearboxes, PTOs, electrical systems, chassis, and suspension components.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, refurbishments, and installations following manuals and safety protocols.
• Order parts, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure proper documentation.
• Work in shop or field, assisting team members and responding to troubleshooting calls.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery, perform safety checks, and operate power and lifting equipment.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; trade or technical certification preferred.
• At least 5 years of proven experience with oilfield equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulics.
• Valid driver’s license;
  Class A or B preferred.
• Strong hydraulic knowledge and experience with troubleshooting software (e.g., CAT Electronic Technician, Cummins Insight).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
