Responsibilities- Maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment at the production facility; perform routine maintenance of the facility’s electrical equipment
- Inspect, test, adjust, calibrate, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems
- Inspect meters, indicators, and gauges to detect abnormal fluctuations
- Maintain functional knowledge of operations software and hardware
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections of control instrumentation
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures and correct them
- Complete work order cycles, perform work, confirm time, and enter equipment history
- Diagnose existing or potential trouble with plant electrical equipment
- Clean, lubricate, calibrate, and adjust equipment as conditions indicate
- Laye out, install, and place electrical equipment into service
- Perform housekeeping duties and keep designated areas free of safety hazards
- Multi-craft skill set is a plus; perform additional maintenance tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical degree preferred
- 5+ years industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to work in a team or lone-working environment with minimal supervision
- Maintain and adjust equipment to maximize production and minimize downtime
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); experience with Programmable Logic Controllers, Servo and Frequency Drives
- Professional attitude and ability to work well with others
- Commitment to a safe working environment and adherence to safety procedures
- Perform/coordinate good housekeeping in the facility
- Willingness to work shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays
