** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

+ Monitor access control points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with management and/or emergency services as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting any unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.

+ Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the location, providing assistance as needed.

+ Maintain awareness of the environment and report any security-related hazards or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

+ Support access control operations by monitoring surveillance systems and reporting irregularities.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
