Technical Writer & Editor – Entry Professional

Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized staffing firm, is assisting our global manufacturing client with a Technical Writing & Editing Entry Professional opportunity working on-site at their Crystal Springs, MS location.

• Under the supervision of Local QMS managers, this individual will support implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) in their area of responsibility in accordance with the Business Units QMS, applicable standards, and internal regulations.
• Support to organize and conduct internal audits and support certifications audits.
• Responsible for creating and/or updating QMS documents with its acceptance criteria and providing relevant training and instructions to the teams within their area of responsibility about the processes.
• Will participate in Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and continuous improvement activities.
• Implements and ensures adherence to applicable QMS within their area of responsibility.
• Provides leadership and technical expertise about Quality Management System solutions to the teams in his area of responsibility.
• Ensures all necessary trainings for QMS are available within the appropriate tools or platforms and the organization is aware and trained.
• Ensures the business process mapping (BPM) is available, released, and showing the up-to-date process landscape of their scope in appropriate tool (e.g. Adonis).
• Ensures the document management system (DMS) holds all relevant QMS related documents as official, controlled documents.
• Prepares and assists regular internal audits with all business relevant functions/departments and processes.
• Preferably, use the GQSA (Global Quality Self-Assessment) approach and Intelex tool to document internal audits.
• Prepares and assists external ISO 9001 audits with external certification bodies. – Ensures Business Units QMS strategy is deployed at the local units in the scope.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support identified continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supports execution of the BU Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) within their area of responsibility.
• Supports identification and execution of systematic continuous improvement actions to improve QMS process performance.

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Education:
  
  Minimum Technical Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Quality field.
• MUST HAVE experience as an Internal Auditor on ISO 9001 Standard, Production Quality, Documents control, Calibration
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Certification and Auditing
• Quality Management Systems (QMS) experience
• Performance Management and Analytics
• Continuous Improvement Project Management (Basic)
