Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Long Term Care

Location: Baldwyn

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position specializing in geriatric and post-acute patients, requiring a MS or compact RN license and LTAC experience.

Job Details

• Work in a 100-bed Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility,

• Primary patient population consists of geriatric, short-term, post-acute, and trach patients,

• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:20 with nurse practitioner support on weekdays,

• 12-hour night shifts with a rotating schedule including some weekends,

• Ancillary assistance includes 9 staff on days and 7 on nights,

Job Requirements

• Active MS or compact RN license required,

• Minimum two years of LTAC experience required,

• Prior travel nursing experience required, but exceptional first-time travelers may be considered,

• BLS (AHA) certification required; ACLS preferred,

• Experience in large facilities (400+ beds) or level 2 trauma experience strongly preferred,

• Support team includes nurse practitioners and ancillary staff,

• 12-week contract with a set night shift schedule,
