The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment and ensures correct delivery and shipment of materials.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform work within takt/cycle time

· Perform work per work instructions

· Provide and process movement of material to point of use

· Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material around the assembly line in order and neat

· Inform proper personnel of material shortage

· Check in and place materials from other cells

· Operate forklift

· Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

· Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints

· Basic math skills

· Knowledge of JDE Material Handler Menu

· Certified forklift operator

Education and Experience Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Experience in material handling
