Job Description:
Responsibilities &Qualifications:
This is an entry level position requiring basic mechanical/technical skills. We will provide on-the-job training to candidates who have a desire to learn and grow within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:- Operate and adjust plating lines
- Perform quality checks of products and assure good product
- Perform preventative & autonomous maintenance
- Basic chemical labeling
- Operate brass & steel ovens
- Host, forklift, and hyster-lift operation and inspections
- Must possess the ability to coordinate and move product from one department to another
Experience:
- REQUIRED High school diploma/GED certification
- High energy, self-motivated, attention to detail and willingness to learn and advance in a fast paced environment
- Introductory experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Knowledge of plating processes and production lines is preferred
- Some welding skills preferred
- Knowledge of Terminal products, reeling, and plating processes
- Basic arithmetic and the ability to work with alpha-numeric part numbers
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 44 lbs safely & dependably
- Must be able to carry a minimum weight of 44 lbs safely & dependably
- Must be able to push a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably
- Must be able to pull a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably
- Frequent standing, walking, and balancing throughout the day is required in this job.
- Additional PPE requirements as necessary for working environment

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.50 - $22.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
