Your Impact:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist II to join our team in Houston, MS. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Set up, operate, and maintain machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to produce precision parts.
- Perform routine inspections and measurements to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling to optimize production efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate production records.
- Proven experience as a Machinist II or similar role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of machining tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred.

Employees must be able to talk, hear, and frequently sit, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Regular lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Vision requirements include close and color vision and focus adjustment. Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, and explosives.
Noise levels can be very loud, requiring ear protection.
