R.R. Cassidy, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Fabricator to join our team of experts. The Fabricator will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components for various construction projects, including subsurface and pole‑setting work. The ideal candidate will be skilled in reading blueprints, operating heavy machinery, and welding to produce high‑quality parts and structures that meet precise specifications.
What You'll Do- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate metal parts and structures.
- Cut, weld, and shape metal materials (steel, aluminum, etc.) using tools such as saws, oxy‑fuel torch, manual plasma cutter and other welding equipment.
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts are fabricated to exact project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering and construction teams to ensure proper fitting and assembly of fabricated parts on job sites.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards during fabrication and site installation.
- Work with other team members to troubleshoot issues and suggest improvements to fabrication processes.
- Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding, and operating fabrication machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of various welding techniques (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW).
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a fabrication environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in welding or metal fabrication is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
