Your role at Baxter:This position is responsible for moving product through the distribution center, safely and accurately, while following all safety and company policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for maintaining a positive work environment by communicating and interacting in a manner that is conducive to the purpose and mission of the company overall.
What You'll Be Doing:- Process orders, verify and apply stickers for inbound and outbound processes.
- Process hazardous materials in accordance with International Civil Aviation Regulations.
- Use a radio frequency terminal / scan gun to process product throughout the warehouse.
- Use assigned individual security passwords.
- Ensure compliance with all procedures related to regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements (including spills, damages, and returns).
- Process and stage damaged product according to standard operating procedures.
- Use correct pallets and packaging (as required by customer or country) to ship product.
- Participate in projects/teams to continuously improve the operation and key result areas (safety, quality, service and cost).
- Utilize warehouse computer applications (WMS, RF equipment).
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Document inventory discrepancies.
- Complete training assignments on time.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with calculator assistance.
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three‑syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Willingness to work overtime, as necessary, scheduled or unscheduled.
- Understanding of temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius.
- Good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Warehouse management systems experience.
- Regularly stand, talk, hear; use hands to handle materials or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Frequently walk, lift, and/or move up to 65 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Regular exposure to moving powered industrial equipment, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
- Perform assigned duties and any additional tasks, including cross‑training.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more open with our pay practices. This position has an hourly pay rate of $17.50, based on relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
