Description:

Responsible for designing, planning, tracking and managing the project they are assigned. Responsible for identifying key resources and providing the direction required for meeting the project objectives.

• Define the project management process to be applied to the project
• Select core and cross-functional staff members
• Prepare project plan and obtain management approval of the project plan
• Apply project plan resources according to the approved project plan
• Analyze risk and instigate avoidance activities. Establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating corrective action
• Manage project schedule and task details and utilize project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklists, and project scheduling software and delegate appropriately
• Track and report on progress to plan
• Analyze the actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives
• Keep all senior staff members informed of progress and issues
• Involve fictional expertise in design reviews and key decisions as well as risk strategies
• Assure timely adaptive action is taken
• Negotiate the performance of activities with team members and their managers
• Establish and publish clear priorities among project activities
• Coordinate management and technical decisions
• Arbitrate and resolve conflict and interface problems within the project
• Provide input on the performance of project team members to their supervisors
• Other duties may be required to ensure Diversity-Vuteq meets and exceeds our customer expectations and needs.

Two-year college or technical school; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to lead and motivate people and encourage teamwork, an ability to communicate effectively with senior management, and a clear vision of what determines a successful product for the customer and for the company. Ability to read blueprints and computer skills (Internet software, Excel and Word)
