• Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to grow the seasonal tax business.
• Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives for three tax offices.
• Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time January–April, with evening and weekend hours as needed. This role is in-person and not remote.
• Lead daily team meetings, manage associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management, and travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed after successful completion of relevant training (Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment).

• Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
• Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and community involvement.
• Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and resolve associate issues in collaboration with the Associate Relations Center.
• Foster an engaging, collaborative team environment across all offices through training and coaching.

• People management experience with a track record of growing and developing associates.
• Ability to execute growth plans and lead toward a growth-oriented culture.
• Strong decision-making, judgment, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
