QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Physical ability to perform strenuous work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Custodial experience in an industrial, commercial setting.
- General awareness of janitorial practices and procedures.
- Experience with janitorial equipment (machines relating to buffing, waxing, stripping, etc.) and cleaning products.
- Sweep and clean floors
- Clean and mop bathrooms
- Vacuum carpeted areas
- Clean windows, blinds and drapes
- Clean all glass doors in public areas
- Thoroughly clean all drinking fountains
- Clean and dust all furniture
- Clean all equipment used daily, including vacuum cleaner
- Gather and dispose of all trash daily
- Report all maintenance needs and damages as soon as possible
- Be responsible for requesting and maintaining appropriate supplies
- Be available for after-hours events as needed
- Coordinate and set up Facility Use Requests
- Clean all sidewalks, walkways and stairs adjacent to assigned buildings
- Perform other related duties as assigned
